Thank you Scott. I have passed your request on to Mr. Pruitt's scheduling team and am checking to see what his availability is.

Good afternoon Samantha,
I was referred to you by our mutual friend Andy Cook, who mentioned you as a point of contact for Administrator Pruitt. I am the Senior Vice President of Government Relations for Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC). We are Wisconsin's state chamber of commerce and the state manufacturer's association. WMC is Wisconsin's largest and oldest business lobbying organization, and our President/CEO Kurt Bauer had the opportunity to meet Administrator Pruitt at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Board of Directors meeting in Arizona earlier this year. We would be delighted to have Administrator Pruitt speak at event we are holding on Wednesday, August 16 here in Madison.
The event is our "Policy Day" conference, and will be held at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. We expect about 400 business people to attend the conference, which explores contemporary policy issues of importance to businesses. Our program will have a strong focus on federal policies, including a track on environmental policy. Because Wisconsin is a manufacturing-intensive state, and because we generate a majority of our electricity from coal, we are uniquely impacted by federal environmental regulations and thought Administrator Pruitt would be a perfect speaker.

We would love to have the Administrator speak at the event about his vision for the EPA, and how the agency intends to work with states on environmental regulatory issues. We would accommodate his schedule at any time of the day, as the event lasts the entire day. In addition, we would be happy to work with our member companies to arrange for factory visits/plant tours for Administrator Pruitt to increase his media visibility during his visit to Wisconsin if that is something that would be of interest to him.
I greatly appreciate your consideration of this request -1 can be reached on my direct line at (608) 661-6912 if you have an questions or need additional information.
We are extremely grateful for the important work that you all are doing on behalf of America.
Best regards,
I
