Among the targeted chemicals is benzene, a known carcinogen. Devon Energy has already been found to have committed five separate environmental violations in the past few years. Investment in a system to detect and reduce future leaks is admirable, and permission by the government to eliminate such an improvement is scandalous. Our children and grandchildren - yours and mine - deserve a clean environment. It is especially puzzling in light of the agreement that had already been reached between Devon Energy and the EPA. You are wrong to permit it. m 3 3 ift'1 Scot! Pruitt. Administrator Environmental Protection Agency Mail Code 1101 Washington, DC 20460 .w * liiif'iiii8!lii!iiiS'll,jii!,!lli!lli,ii'liiliili,li
