This estimate is based upon the number of pumps that are available at LCCP and includes all costs associated with the sampling. This compares to a proposed cost of $5466.85 for 0IHS to perform the sampling in three days. Although there is a difference in the cost of in-house versus contracted sampling, there are benefits in using a consultant for this type of sampling. First, this consultant has performed this type of sampling before and is familiar with all of the techniques for using the different types of sampling devices. They also have the capability to continuously observe the samples and note any occurrences which would lead to a high sample result. Also, the initial sampling would take three days for the consultant and day/night sampling would be possible.
