January 7, 1977 Mr. BJ Iwarsson Winchester As of today,, all ABK raw materials except those cloths containing Asbestos and their required unpregnants, have been transferred to Synthane-Taylor in Oaks, Pa. Our future requirements for "B" stage cloth will be supplied by them. , Hopefully, we have enough asbestos cloth (ABK-036 and ABD-172) scheduled into Winchester for impregnating to carry the majority of our 1977 requirements. This will give Synthane-Taylor plenty of time to develop their procedures to impregnate asbestos contain ing cloths which includes sending the material to their California plant for impregnating. I am also checking with Southern Asbestos, the supplier of these cloths -- they have expressed a desire to impregnate.
