Mr. Dankert: Greetings from Senator Crapo's Office. We hope this e-mail finds this well. Our office was recently referred to you by Mr. James Nelson. We had contacted him regarding an employee that believe -(b)(6) ma have been erroneously released fro (b)(6): Information that, if disclosed, would invade another individual's personal privacy. b 6 b 6 .pecifically, has seen wor ing as a (b 6 (6)(6), Information that, if disclosed, would invade another individual's personal privacy. at the Idaho-based facility. It sounds as thoug b 6 a se part o e review reconsisera ion process for an exemption or reinstatement based on (b)(6) critical role with firefighting efforts at the facility. (b)(6) has provided a copy o(b)(6) termination letter, a performance evaluation along with a statement about this potentially being in error (these positions had been listed as exemptions elsewhere in the agency based on the critical role they play in wildland firefighting). Is there anyone we could forward this request to get an update on this matter, and possibly others as they arise? We would sincerely appreciate your guidance and assistance. Senator Crapo supports President Trump's efforts to root out waste, fraud and abuse at the federal government. Please don't hesitate to let us know if our office can further assist in those efforts.
