Dear Doctor Eehoe:
You will recall that you testified for me in the above matter at Binghamton, II. Y., in September 1944. Following the hearing and the submission of the file to the Heferee for a decision on the record, the referee found against the employer. His finding was to the effect that the employee contracted lead poisoning thru his use of gasoline containing tetra-ethyl lead, in washing a black non-lead paint off his hands and arms, over a period of eighteen days.
We annealed this decision of the referee and the Board reversed the referee and dismissed and closed the ca.se. The claimant has however appealed this ruling of the Board to the Appellate Division.
I will keep you advised of developments.
