Ecker: Our medical people have asked me to write you about a matter in which they are vitally concerned and which has to do with the services of your Doctor Lanza. To put it briefly, the story is that in the program of our new medical center we are going in heavily for certain types of work In industrial medicine and that a country-wide search by our medical people for somebody to head up the work means that they have come back to Doctor Lanza as the most competent' man in sight and the man they want for that purpose. They have talked with him and he is willing, if the details can be worked out with you; hence this letter to you directly about it. They feel of coarse that it would be preferable to have him on a full time basis if that could be arranged. But failing that, at least on a basis which would *sean that he would give a part of his time to us and a pert to you.
