Mr. Littlefair would like to meet with EPA Administrator Pruitt to discuss some recent technological advancements in terms of natural gas vehicles. The new generation of Near Zero NOx emissions natural gas engines, while using renewable natural gas, has an emissions profile that can compete, and in many cases exceed, the emissions profile of electric vehicles when drawing electricity from the grid. Mr. Littlefair would also like to discuss how a more robust natural gas vehicle industry can create thousands of additional U.S. jobs, and how using a domestic fuel can make our country safer and enhance our national security. Clean Energy is the largest provider in North America of natural gas used as a transportation fuel. As you know, natural gas is now used as a transportation fuel in motor vehicles, railroad locomotives, and in marine vessels. Andrew and T. Boone Pickens founded Clean Energy nearly two decades ago. Andrew has been a leader is the natural gas vehicle industry, having served as the former Chairman of Natural Gas Vehicle America (NGVA) - the natural gas vehicle industry trade association. Recognizing how busy the Administrator's schedule is, Andrew would be willing to come to Washington for a meeting with him at the Administrator's convenience. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be reached by email slane@pacellp.com, or by cell 202-744-2233. Thanks for your consideration of this request. Best. Scott 17cv1906 Sierra Club v.
