VCl Chromatograph (CMVII VFA - Model 1200) Computer Data
The Dispersion Vinyl Resins Unit staff has found the twenty-point chromatograph to be a key instrument in its campaign of VCl exposure control.
The chromatograph analyses can be organized and manipulated to give the VCl concentration for different parameters on a daily basis, a month-todate basis and a year-to-date basis.
The chromatograph takes 720 samples daily. The long manual and manpower-consuming calculations required to compute the chromatograph results limit our ability of using this instrument efficiently. In order to take full advantage of the chromatograph and in order to obtain the various data needed by the 08500 Department, a computer system is absolutely necessary.
On the next page is a list of the data needed by the 08500 Department.
For further information or clarification, please contact me at Extension 2821.
Sincerely,
CB/ra
