Deirn dated March 27, 1975, subject as above. While I question the necessity of partially substituting the plant physician's judgement by the mathematical approach recommended taken in Paragraphs 5A2 and 3, I have no objection to providing this Infor mation as a guideline for plant management so long as it does not have the effect of abrogating the plant physician's discretionary right provided in Paragraph 5A4. X would like to point out what appears to be an Inconsistency. The six blood studies referred to In Paragraphs 5A2 and 3 are not the same as the five blood studies recommended In Paragraph 3A-E of the October 11, 1974 Work Practice Guideline. Lastly, 1 would recommend that, prior to reviewing the ccraroents you receive with "an outside consultant," you discuss the matter further with the PPG Medical Director. Lee B. Grant, K.D.
