As you will notice, the major amount of asbestos removal work which remains to be completed (namely the boiler room and kettle house where the 4 tanks are) will not be resumed until January 1988. We have spent approximately 3 times the originally projected amount for the entire project and have not yet completed the asbestos removal. As a result of this huge cost overrun and Bird's financial situation, I have been told that we will have to delay the completion of the asbestos removal untiL1988,although as you see from my proposed schedule we will try to make this as early in the year as possible.
