Ta meet these conditions, and as a variant from ordinary braided asbestos packing, R/M engineers designed the asbestos rope, shown above, it is furnished either in solid braided construction without a center core, or with a single or double braided asbestos jacket over a twisted asbestos rope center. A ll types are available cither treated or dry, ready for oiling and graphiting in the engine room to the user's specifications. These different types of braided asbestos ropes are just a few of the hundreds of R/M packings which are availab le through your authorized R/M distributor.
