Elected in 2004, Sheriff Hobbs served the people of Jefferson County with distinction for the last thirteen years. In honor of Sheriff David Hobbs, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at halfstaff at the County Courthouse in Jefferson County, Florida, the City Hall in Monticello, Florida, the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office in Monticello, Florida, and the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
