We are delighted you will be joining us for the Holiday Open House on 12/4/2017 7:30:00 PM! Please click here for your boarding pass. Please share your boarding pass with your guests.
Groups should enter the White House complex at the corner of 15th Street and Alexander Hamilton Place. Volunteers are posted to direct groups as they arrive. Groups should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled tour time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
Groups who arrive for a tour should not bring:
* Video cameras, including any action camcorders, cameras with detachable lenses, tablets, tripods, monopods, and camera sticks.
* Handbags, book bags, backpacks or purses * Food or beverages, tobacco products, personal grooming items (i.e.
makeup, lotion, etc.) Strollers * Any pointed objects * Aerosol containers * Guns, ammunition, fireworks, electric stun guns, mace, martial arts
weapons/devices, or knives of any size
There are no storage facilities available at the White House to check a bag or a prohibited item. If it is raining, umbrellas are permitted. Cameras, cell phones, and cell phones with cameras are allowed, however there is no talking or texting on your phone inside the White House.
All guests 18 years of age or older will need to present a valid, government-issued photo I.D. with information matching the name previously submitted for clearance. Individuals without acceptable identification or whose identification does not exactly match the name or data cleared for entry may be denied entry. All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Acceptable forms of ID include:
Valid Government-issued United States drivers license * Valid Government-issued United States identification card * Valid United States or other official government-issued passports * Valid United States State Department ID * For foreign nationals, only VALID passports are accepted * All foreign nationals must present ID, regardless of age. No foreign-
issued state IDs, foreign-issued driver's licenses, expired passports, or other forms of identification will be accepted.
Holiday Open Houses are self-guided, however United States Secret Service officers are posted in every room to provide historical information about the room and the White House. Please feel free to ask them questions.
