Dear Bill, Ryan et aS
Steve and i have now had a chance to look over the Technical Support Document of the Endangerment Finding. (TSD). There are many questionabie claims in the early sections of the TSD that are focused on "hard" cilmafe science, and are used to hack up supposed harmful effects discussed in later sections. We think that these early parts of the report would be a good target for a Red Team review.
Since the TSD was sponsored by the ERA, it would be appropriate for ERA to have it reassessed, given all that has been learned since it was published in 2009. As soon as appropriate Executive Branch personnel are confirmed in their positions, we hope it will he possibie to extend the review to the recent Climate Science Speciai Report (CSSR), issued a few months ago, and to other recent government publications on the topic.
Best wishes,
Will
