VELOCITY OF STEAM
To find the velocity of steam multiply the condensation in pounds by the volume in cu ft corresponding to the pressure, which gives volume of steam passing through the pipe per hour. Dividing this product by 3600 times the area of the pipe in sq. ft.
gives velocity in ft. per second.
