With regard to the difference in dis tribution of lead in ordinary cases as compared to that due to the achninistr&tion of colloidal lead, the explanation, X believe, is fairly simple. In the latter cases, the distribution of the colloidal lead is like that of other essentially Inert colloidal material, while the distribution of lead in lead poison ing and lead absorption from other sources is based upon the chemical properties of lead compounds, and not upon their physical characteristics.
