What valves to block in, in case of a leak or fire. 4. The use of water to dissipate VCM. 5. Use of wind direction when approaching a fire or VCM release. 6. Insuring safety of personnel. 7. Checking out the tank farm when a compressor trips out. May be caused by high pressure. In addition, the failure of a VCM liquid hose at the tank farm was discussed.
