The modifications offered are as follows: A. Unit No. 2 The existing stack foundation, base plat<3, ring, anchor bolts, and stack^structure itself require no modification for the addition of the following: 1. Add a 2" thick wire reinforced gunite lining to the interior of the complete stack. Budget Price $86,365.00 2. Add a 3M thick layer of insulation with lagging to the exterior of the stack. Uiit 3 The existing 100 ft. stack requires no modification to the foundation, base plate, or anchor bolts for addition of the following: 1. Add 2" thick wire reinforced gunite lining to the existing 100 ft. stack. Budget Price $55,015.00 2. Add a 3" thick layer of insulation with lagging to the exterior of the existing 100 ft. stack. Cpig* #1, 2 8 3) would require the following: a. Install an additional 50 ft. stack section 10' 6" I.D. with 5/16" shell thickness. b. Modify belled section to include: 1. New 50 ft. belled section with inside diameters from 10' 6" to 16' 6", 1/2" shell thickness. 2. New 2" thick base ring. 3. 20 additional 2" dia anchor bolts'installed to existing stack foundation. Existing 1 5/8" diameter anchor bolts to be left in place and reused. 4. Forty (40) new anchor bolt supports. c. Existing foundation is to be enlarged (see attached sketch). The following materials are required to construct the new additional foundation: \ 1. Six (6) 50 ton piles 2. 90 cubic yards of 3000 PSI strength concrete 3. Approximately 8 tons of reinforcing bars Budget Price $343,142.00 4. Make the same modifications to the stack as in Item 3, above. plus add 2" thick wire reinforced gunite lining. Budget Price $412,142.00 5. Make the same modifications to the stack as in Item 3, above, plus add a 3" thick layer of insulation with lagging to the exterior of the stack. Add a 50 ft. extension to the existing LOO ft. stack, add two levels of three (3) guy wires each and add a 3" thick layer of insulation with lagging to the exterior of the ISO' stack (Fig. 4 8 5). Until such time as your instruc tions are received, no further action will take place on this extra. Attached for your information are sketches - figures 1 - 5 - which depict the modifications which would be made to Unit #3 stack. The terns and conditions associated with this quote are in accordance with those contained in our proposal 9/75, dated 1/10/75.
