The Raybestos-Manhattan No. Charleston, SC plant primarily manufactured textiles, and the manufacture of molding compounds was not a large part of their manufacturing operations. J-M was considered a poor "fifth" as a supplier of asbestos fiber for the textile operations as R-M employed the "wet process" for manufacturing their textiles, and our fiber was not conducive to such a manufacturing process.
