Post DATE August 28, 1979 ASBESTOS FORMULATIONS The production o f three cements, Masonry, P l a s t i c (Hand) and Gun P l a s t i c was researched f or Permanente and Cushenbury plants apropos of asbestos content. S a l i e n t dates of manufacture and product s p e c i f i c a t i o n s are attached (Table I). Relevant comments are l i s t e d below b y . p l a n t . I . Permanente Masonry - produced from 11/15/60 to 7/24/62. - manufactured without asbestos. 2. P l a s t i c (Hand) - f i r s t produced on 11/15/60. - asbestos ad dition i n i t i a t e d on 12/15/61. - asbestos deleted from formulation on 7/73. - s t i l l in production with asbestos-free formulation. 3. Gun P l a s t i c - asbestos added a t production onset, 11/15/60. - l a s t produced in 10/73. - final product spe cification (Pl.G-5) containing asbestos formulation is 'current' despite lack of production..
