I will be in Washington D.C. April 6th and 7th and would ideally meet with him at that time if his schedule permits. I will be attending Administrator Pruitt's address at the Environmental Commissioners of the States (ECOS) Friday the 7th -- one potential opportunity for a meeting. I will make myself available to accommodate Mr. Pruitt's schedule during this or a future trip.
With thanks,

The Honorable Scott Pruitt U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW Office of the Administrator, 1101A Washington, D.C. 20460
Dear Administrator Pruitt:
On behalf of Scenic Hudson, I congratulate you on your appointment as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I am writing to request a meeting to explore innovative ways to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of ongoing efforts to clean up the Hudson River.
Scenic Hudson is the largest non-profit conservation organization working to protect and restore the Hudson River Valley while encouraging smart economic growth in cities and towns in the region. I serve on the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council to help create jobs while protecting the natural assets of our area. Scenic Hudson utilizes land acquisition and sophisticated planning tools to create jobs and prosperous communities and enhance public access to the river while preserving the valley's inspiring beauty and natural resources. To date Scenic Hudson has created or enhanced more than 65 parks, conserved almost 40,000 acres and permanently protected over 100 working farms.
The priority issue I would like to discuss with you is the clean-up of the Hudson River Superfund site. We are encouraged by your public statements indicating you would like to find opportunities to create jobs and achieve environmental gains and that you believe EPA can help fix the pollution in the Hudson. The Obama Administration made a series of missteps that can be remedied to achieve these goals. To that end, I would greatly appreciate an opportunity to meet prior to EPA's release of any draft of the ongoing Five-Year Review of the Hudson clean up.
I will be in Washington D.C. April 6th and 7th and would be pleased if your schedule permitted a meeting one of these days. If these dates are not possible, I welcome your suggestion of other dates.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request. Please don't hesitate to contact me at (914) 489-4630 or nsullivan@scenichudson.org if you or your staff have any questions or a need for additional information.
incerely.
Sullivan
