The following need* to be understood by those of us receivin' this memorandum. However, to avoid confusion in our district offices 1 don't think we should get our district people into this picture tor the time being.
As we all know, G. E. at Rome mixes their own Pyranol which is designated as their Part No. A50P524.
Y?e should also be aware that the chlorinated biphenyl Borne pur chases from us (Aroclor 1242-like material) is known as their Part No. D30PS35-SI.
They have been using Unox 201 Diepoxide Scavenger purchased from Carbide and listed as G. E. Part No. D5D70A.
Rome will shortly switch, as we have, to Unox 221 Dlepoxide. G.E., Rome, Georgia, will retain their same part number (D6D70A) regards this switch.
When Rome makes a Pyranol transformer the name plate will show Pyranol A50P524 as the fluid.
Now, when a user of tnis apparatus needs make up or refill, normally he Is to be supplied Pyranol A13B3B purchased from Monsanto. If this given user is insistent relative to what he sees on the name plate as being Pyranol A69P524 then, as Monsanto does not have this material, it will have to be referred to G. E. at Rome, Georgia for supplying.
This situation has not arisen and, while it could, we felt need to explain it--although G. E. and ourselves continue to look forward to handling tills type supply requirement in terms of Pyranol A13B3B.
