I hope you enjoyed the holiday season. As we mentioned during our meeting, the National Pest Management Association is holding its annual Legislative Day Meeting on March 19, 2018. This conference typically draws about 400 owners and executives from pest management firms nationwide and will be held at the Capital Hilton, in Washington DC . It is designed to provide an opportunity for our members to meet directly with members of congress to speak about issues which concern their businesses. One of the topics that we are interested in learning more about is how Federal regulatory reform efforts will impact the structural pest management industry. I am writing to invite you to participate in a panel discussion on March 19th from 9:15-10:15 AM, titled: The Impact of Pesticide Regulatory Reform on Structural Pest Management Industry In March 2017, EPA Administrator Pruitt issued a memorandum establishing the EPA Regulatory Reform Task Force in response to President Trump's Executive Order 13771: Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda, which is designed to reduce the regulatory burdens agencies place Sierra Club v. EPA 18cv3472 NDCA Tiers 8&9 ED 002061 00058741-00002 on the American people. Since then, EPA has held public meetings and invited written and verbal comment from stakeholders who are directly impacted. Concurrently, NPMA has begun working on its Pesticide Regulatory Reform Agenda focusing on overcoming challenges that directly impact the pest management industry. In this session, learn what EPA and Industry are doing to work together tofind solutions. We are also inviting Ray Starling, and Rick Keigwin.
