RE: Asbestos Removal NESHAPS Notice
Dear Mr. Palmer:
As part of our continuing program to remove asbestos from the refinery, we plan to remove and dispose of asbestos insulation from the Powerhouse (De-aerator). Gilman Insulation Inc. is scheduled to start removal February 4, 1991, in accordance with OSHA and EPA standards. The project will be complete in approximately two (2) weeks. The asbestos material will be properly disposed of at BFI's landfill near Sinton, Texas.
Attached is a completed TACB Asbestos Demolition/Renovation Notification Form submitted to comply with NESHAP's and TACB notification requirements.
