Vincent Parrillo, Industrial Hygienist* and Jane Voscek, Nurse Consultant, were the inspectors. Warehouse, Compounding, Mass Resin, Tank Farm, Computer, Pearl/Paste Poly and Drying Areas were toured. Particulate samples were taken in the Mass Resin and Pearl/Paste Bagging Areas. Results of these samples should "be forwarded to us in approximately two weeks. We received one recommendation, which will he implemented: cigarettes taken into lead handling operations by personnel should he enclosed in plastic cases to prevent contamination, or left elsewhere. The inspectors showed a real interest in our VC1 precautionary measures, hut offered no suggestions or recommendations for improvement. They requested a copy of the TWX, dated March 22, 197U, in which OSHA announced emergency measures to protect workers from vinyl chloride.
