LIGHT COLORED KAHGANESE UVERSGL DRIER TO IMPROVE
"'be. Ha.rsb.aw Chemical Company. claims that, their Hversol
jaaisgaac-.ee uaplitfeenste direr.has improved color*' A sample, ES**
20031* has boon compared with ?B*lo46 Manganese naphthenat it the formula of 301875, #40 Outside White,-to determine whether an improvement can be made in the color of the paint
The Dversol drier does .hare a lighter color and better, clarity in bulk* However, when sad into |01-75 White at equal manganese content, it shows no improvement either in the wet or dry color*
Drying tests were mad at normal temperature and low temperature in two film thicknesses* The drying rate with Ifversol was'about as good as with YD*X$46? it was slightly slower initially at low tempej^atur, but the final drying time was the same*
Since there is m%- improvement in color, this drier does rot appear to be of farther interest*
