The general volume of our work is such that samples that come in have to take their normal sequence, except in the event of a rather crucial medical situation relating to the care of a patient. usually there is little delay. The data on the report sheet are given largely for our own purposes, i.e. that of making the best interpretation of the results that can he given. They need not concern you at all. However, in the occasional instance involving a sample that is too small to yield a sufficiently precise result, one must reserve judgment a3 to the validity and significance of the analytical result.
