Armak has yet to obtain a number from Transport Canada although they are in the process of doing this. It is clearly their responsibility to obtain this number. However, I have discussed this situation with Legal and they concur that due to the confusion as to compliance deadlines for the regulations and the minimal risk of compliance activity it is reasonable to send this shipment, with the following information added to the bill of lading: ARMAK EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER 305/242-3855 I will work with Mary Valenta and Armak to obtain the required information for future shipments.
