Chemicals and Metals Division ? O SOX jOPLrs. MISSOURI Hay 29, 1962 MAY I, Mr. T. K. Graham The Anaconda Company 25 Broadway New York 4, New York kc%i h.t Dear Mr. Graham: Early in April during the Zinc Institute we discussed with you ur inventory position regarding your East Helene Fume. We requested you to discontinue shipments during the month of May because we were not able to move this material as previously anticipated. Since that time you have resumed shipments and our inventory position has not improved. In addition to this you have indicated that you will have to ship the cold slag fume in the very near future. Our laboratory analysis shows this material to be very high in iron; in fact so high that it appears that we will not be able to use it. In view of our inventory situation and the high iron content of the cold slag fume we are requesting you to suspend shipments until further notice. As soon as our sales develop in this production we would like to have the opportunity to come back to you for more material. Yours very truly, CHEMICALS .AND METALS DIVISION The Eagle-Ficher Company JBW/bc ' A' J. B.
