June 9, 1953 Mr* V G. Lovell Ethyl Corporation 1600 West Eight Mile Road Feradale 20, Detroit, Michigan Dear Wheelers Thanks for your letter, and also my thanks by this means to Jack McCauley, for your interest in my coming to Detroit. No halt Is necessary. I want very much to come. X*ve just been trying to work my way out from under an accumulation of duties and correspondence. I think I can see my way clear, but I'd rather not wait until July. How about the week beginning June 21? X think two days will probably be better than one/ but perhaps we can cover the ground in one. What do you think, and what about any one or two days of that week? A3 an alternative, X could be there during the week of July 5However, let me know your wishes, and I'll meet, them, if possibl Sincerely yours. Robert A. Kehoe, M. D. RAK ef C.C.J Mr. J. B. Kehoe Kettering Laboratory Eden Avenue Cincinnati 1$3 Ohio Dear Bob: As you know, we are proceeding with our expert ments on what comes out of the tailpipe of an automobile as far as lead is concerned pretty much along the lines that were indicated in the reports we forwarded you sometime ago. As you know, we are very eager to get your opinion on these experiments and to see what other experiments we could do that might be helpful to you. With this in mind, we are still casting around to see what kind of bait we might find that would induce you to come up here and talk about them. We would, of course, be glad to go to Cincinnati but we would be very glad to see you here because there are a lot of other things to talk about, especially including phosphorus compounds and some nitrates in which we presently have a very active interest. There are also a lot of people here who would like to see you. I wonder if there is any possibility of arranging any kind of meeting in the early part of July. Do you have any special ideas as to any particular bait that we might use that would appear attractive to you? Tf CO Tf rfOo cr*1 o lu * With best WGL:deb cc: J.
