We have a monthly meeting for our supervisors in which we take up safety*
We have made Audiometer tests throughout the plant and are within the accepted range. Hearing tests are being re quired as .part of oar'physical for new employees.

a s fox near miss type accidents, the nearest thing has been a wire rope breaking n .one of our cranes and dropped some mandrels. The operator got out of the way,
The major portion 0* ux injuries have been to the back, and muscles. These are mused by pulling or straining on various equipment or .material* The minor areas have been wet floors causing slipping*
In planning ahead, we have designated a safety supervisor and he will be conducting safety inspections on a monthly basis. He will b e responsible for keeping' the plant manager informed of safety .problems and the correcting of such pro blems, We are also making every effort to conform t the government regulations,as they are c ognised and to comply with the insurance requirements. Our .inspections will be very critical of ourselves in order to bring to our attention things such as rn .wire rope* hot elec tic wires, loose railings, and hopefully hidden dangerit.
