My present plans for visiting on your side are still rather indefinite, but, as far as I can see at the moment, I shall be leaving London during the week-end of October l4th spending the best part of Monday, the 15th, in Hew York before going on to Washington the same evening where I shall probably spend most of the balance of that week. I plan to be back in Hew York the following week-end and I understand that my sister, Han, hopes to come down from Toronto at that time, v Much as I should like to come out to Cincinnati, I doubt very much whether it will be possible, since I am trying to compress my trip into something under two weeks. Is there any chance of your being in Hew York any day during the week commencing October 22nd? I saw Dodds some three weeks ago, and he told me he was expecting to see you in Hew York at a conference I understand you were both to attend in the early part of September. Tie has quite a programme since I believe he intends to fly on to Australia*spending several weeks there before returning to this country. He was always on the go, and I think travelling abroad appeals to him as much as anything else. I shall most certainly hope to see you during my forth coming trip and, if it is in any way possible to squeeze an extra day or two, there is nothing I should like better than to pay you a visit in Cincinnati.
