Shotwell PLAINTIFF'S EXHIBIT The Second Quarter Safety and Housekeeping Inspection for Power II was conducted by the Inspection Team of George Pappas, Jake Linkey, Roger Mears, and Rick Sharp on April 23, 1985. Safety 1. Interlock bypass system - there is a formal procedure that is being used. 2. Recommend keeping miscellaneous items off "Protective Device Bypass" board. 3. AVIP's - good shape. 4. Plectron's working properly. ( 5. Operation's personnel have good feeling concerning hazardous material handling (particularly chlorine). 6. Two ladders in rack east of south offices not tagged. 7. Top half of extension ladder used as a single ladder (had no feet and not wired) (940P1-6). 8. #5 and #7 eye bath switch was turned off. (Light was not burning). Housekeeping 1. South end of second floor between #1 and #2 boilers - clutter on floor. 2. Mezzanine area needs general clean-up. 3. Demineralizer and Zeolite areas - need general clean-up. 4. Water treating area - looks good. General Comment 1. A great deal of maintenance work in progress at time of inspection. 2. Operator attitude very good.
