Below are the results of VCM dosimetry for July, 1978. 66 samples were taken, 21 (31.8%) of which indicated overexposures.

Detailed results of overexposures are shown on the attached table. As can be seen, several people overexposed were Vinyl Lead Operators, who spend their work period inside a control room. Their exposures are believed to be due to a combination of prevailing winds and certain leaks discovered in the older reactor area. Rerouting of an obsolete section of fresh air duct to the control room is planned.
The remainder of the overexposures occurred to people involved in higher risk vinyl area work, requiring respiratory protection.
