I an pleased to announce the appointment of kr. Kanfred Bowditch to the newly created position of Director of Health and Safety of the Lead Industries Association. Ur. Bonditch will asruse his new duties Shout February 1, 19lt6.

Professor of Industrial Hygiene at. the Tufts Colloge Itcdical School. In

and is widely known in the field of industrial hygiene. . J
i He is author of nusr.rous articles on industrial health and safety

subjects and has lectured at -Any meetings of leading organisations in those fields.
He is a Berber of the American Public Health Association, a charter j member and a Director of the American Industrial Hygiene As.'->ci*iion, ' aeober of the Copcdttee on Toxic Dusts and Fume* of Cm* \rtrlcan
Standards Association, and of many other professional orccniaatlon*.
I feel that Ilr. Bowditch'* background of experience will enable the Association to do out*tending worr: in the field of lead hygiene and safety.
