To compile the data for this report, questionnaires/are being sent to individuals and organizations who may be conducting research in the field of air pollution. We would appreciate it if you would fill out the questionnaire and return it in the en closed self-addressed stamped envelope. It will help us if you return your questionnaire even if you have no air pollution re search projects active during 1962. If you are uncertain regard ing your program for the balance of the year, a reasonable estimate will be satisfactory. For our publication to be of maximum value to users, it must reflect the current status of air pollution research insofar as possible. In addition, we hope to have the report available for distribution at the National Conference on Air Pollution in Decem ber. For these reasons, we must set a dead-line of August 10th for return of the questionnaires. We will appreciate your prompt reply. In return for your cooperation, we will send a complimentary copy of the completed publication to those reporting their research projects. N 24689
