SUBJECT Asbestosis Control address Baton Rouge address New Orleans date August 7, 1969 A meeting in New Orleans on July 31, 1969 was held for the purpose of discussing the necessity for and the method of approach to an asbestosis prevention program on the Baton Rouge Plant. Ors. Roush, Bock, Rinehart and Green were present. It was agreed that the first step would be an environmental survey of asbestos handling including dust counts. Dr. Rinehart.will arrange for the hygiene survey in the near future. Since other aspects of asbestosis control depend upon the re sults of the hygiene survey, other control measures need not be implemented until the hygiene survey is completed.
