Gentlemen:
This is to confirm telephone conversation of May 16 in which your letter of May 9 was discussed. The following is understood by this Administration:
1, The procedure set out in your letter is agreeable with this Administration and Mr. Clark of the New Orleans office has been instructed to cooperate with you and to carry out insofar as is possible the procedure in said letter.
2. As to the four specific points in letter of reference the following is understood:
a. Procedures in letter are agreeable.
b. Accuracy of the information contained in "Agent's Inventory as of December 31,
1945," is to be determined by your
people in conjunction with MAL personnel in the Regional Office New Orleans.
c. Mr. C. D. Clark, Acting Chief, Real Property Disposal, New Orleans, is designated as the individual to evidence lessor's approval of the various actions of your company in connection with the lease of the captioned plancor.
