As you knox we discussed this problems in great detail during the Eovember 4
cooting Ittached is the statement which appears on Yanville's
cartons of Thermobestos products I would like to call to your attention
that Manville does not place a warning statement however on their
bags of asbestos Since the bag itself states its contents as being asbestos
fibers in big print they feel they need no warning Only when the asbestos is bidden in the product such as it is in Thermobestos is a warning on the
carton used This raises a question in my mind whether a varning statement
would have to be placed on our Laylo carton if ve vore to have printed on the
carton Asbestos Reinforced Of course this is a legal matter which our Legal Departament must resolve I just wanted to call to your attention the
fact Kenville uses the varning statement only when asbestos is hidden
in the product
