March 27, 1953 Dr. G. H. Gehrmann Medical Director E. I. Du Pont de Nemours and Co., Inc. Vilmington 98, Delaware Dear GehrmannJ Thanks for your letter of March 12, about Dr. Baker's clinic at the Greenbrier. I shall certainly look him up while I am there. I knew something of his activities, since I had an exchange of correspondence with him several years ago. Marlon Blankenhorn (Professor of Medicine in this Medical School) also told me about him and his clinic. He was there some time ago, and if I remember correctly, was on the Advisory Board. At any rate he familiarized himself with the plans and purposes of the clinic, and I am sure that he has encouraged some people to go there in the same spirit that he commended It to me. I was sorry not to see you at the Academy meeting, and I gathered the idea somewhere, certainly not necessarily reliably, that you had been 111. If you were at that time, I hope you are fully recovered and in good spirits. / Please give my regards to Mrs. Gehrmann, and accept ny beet for yourself. Sincerely yours. RAK ef Robert A.'S-hoe, M. 37
