The Committee approved the recommendation of the Manu facturing Committee to dispose of two tracts of land of the Baroid Division at Potosi, Missouri as follows: (a) one tract containing 16.111 acres for the price of approximately $12,087.50, and (b) the second tract containing approximately 3.24 acres for approximately $1,620.00. Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: RESOLVED, That Alfred F. Bauer, a Vice President of National Lead Company and the General Manager of its Doehler-Jarvis Division, and any other individual thereunto specifically authorized in writing over the signature of said Alfred F. Bauer, be and they hereby are authorized and empowered to execute and deliver for and in the name of this Company any and all bids or contracts for the performance of services or for the sale and delivery of materials and supplies to the United States Government and to any Department, Bureau, Board, Office, Agency or other Instrumentality thereof, and to execute and deliver any and all guaranties and bonds required in connectioh therewith. Upon motion, the meeting then adjourned.
