The samples are numbered as follows: lQQ-W-53779i 1Q0-W-5378Q} 100-W-53781; 100-W-53782. The first two samples contain shout 0.03X phenyl mercury oleate or 0.0641 of the solids. Since this is a hasard evaluation test we suggest that each sample be peinted on akin one square inch in area twice a day for 6 days and, with the exception of the first patch, be allowed in so far se feasible to remain undisturbed during the 6-day period. The patches need not be covered with adhesive but the paint should be allowed to dry on the skin. Following a two-week rest period, the samples ahould be reapplied. We shall be most interested to hear how the skin under the patches looks 'r 24 hours after the first, twelfth and final applications.
