Although our Spackling Powder and Paste have never been formulated with asbestos, in anticipation of a possible future ban, you will be interested to know that as of April 28, 1977 production of all BONDEX products containing asbestos (with the ex ception of roof coating) was discontinued and all such products are now being pro duced on an asbestos free formulation and including the elimination of asbestine tremolitic talc. Within the next six weeks, we expect to be completely out of stock on any such as bestos containing products and well in advance of any proposed ban which we have been advised is at least six months in the future.
