The mixers originally fabricated for Bldg. 23-4, being used in Bldg. 200, were produced by our Mechanical Dept. Four 20-BP Motor Reducers ordered Jan.15 but delivery not expected for 26 weeks,which means about July 15. It will take until Aug. 31, 1948 before this job can be finished.

Ribbon mixer promised for delivery May 20th. This piece of equipment is hard to otbin due to the supplier being unable to secure, a 15-BP Kotor. If Purchasing Deptmeat is able to buy motor separately, then our order with International Engineers for ribbon mixer can be cancelled and our own Mechanical Dept. ^ . will fabricate the same. Three roller mills on third ' floor installed and are being use. All 24 mixing tanks are installed end are equipped with motor re ducers. The 12 tanks suspended from the third floor are being used, and the 12 tasks suspended on the . second floor are ready for use. Telephones and tele-talk are being installed with understanding that changes will be made later when explosion proof equipment is available. let to be installed are the ventlhting equipment, partitions,
sprinkler lines and an elevator. Floor of Bldg. 220 must be reinforced. A considerable amount of steel will be required for this work and it has just been

Hew Power Plant - Job is complete except as follows!
Boilers: Completed excepting that steem temperature
is not up to contract and will be necessary for the
manufacturer to re-build the superheater on each
boiler. It Is necessary to do this work during the
light load summer period. Other minor items will
probably be complete by March. Minor leaks in the
Power Plant piping have been repaired. It is still
necessary to take cere of the pipe covering and the
painting. Coal conveyor is complete except for a
minor amount of control equipment jutt recently re
ceived. The coal conveyor is in operation without
the control equipment. Electrical work is approx-,
imately 99Jt complete. Painting of boiler house
building and equipment is
complete, and work is
being done as conditions permit. It is expected
that mlsc. items will be completed about April 1st.

Changing of Filling Lines - Tank Para - This project is part of our general scheme and is anaiting the completion of pumping survey.
Central Pumping Facilities for Liquid Handling - 20 pumps are on order. It was agreed in conference a few weeks ago that a complete layout of all our process lines, pumping facilities, tankage, etc. should be made by the Engineering Dept, in Newark. This project will be started f.s soon as the additional help needed is hired.
3 Resin Cutting tanks - Sandusky. Ohio - Structural drawings for installation of these tanks are out for bids. As soon as bids are received we will be in a position to proceed.with the installation of tanks.
Baker-Perkins Size 16 PPEtt Dispersing Machine - Mixer end 150-BP Motor received. Order .has been placed for Falk Gear Reducers and Kotoys. Bids have been received for fabrication of tanks. Engineering work in connection with installation of this Mixer is being done, in Chicago. Engineering work on the ser vice lines such as power, water, steam, and process lines will be done in Newark.
Conveyor System - Port Newark Warehouse - The label ing machine for use in tills installation is the one . on Req. 851. Labeling Machines have been received from Chicago out it will be necessary to completely overhaul these before they can be U6ed. Belt conveyor is awaiting erection.
