Uptain January 25, 1985 Subject- 1985 ROUTINE DOSIMETRY SAMPLING FREQUENCY PLAN The 1985 routine dosimetry sampling frequency plan (attached) differs from the 1984 plan in three ways: (1) Vinyl shift workers are being put on a twenty-nine day VCM scheduling cycle to permit sampling by job. Under the new plan, each job on each shift will be sampled once during every twenty-nine days. This scheme will also produce sampling which is more random. (2) Utility technicians are being removed from the monthly sampling list since the major source of their VCM ex posures has been eliminated by the installation of exhaust blowers at the bio-disc facility. (3) Certain jobs will no longer be sampled because they have been eliminated. All other parts of the 1984 plan remain unchanged. Please schedule all routine dosimetry according to the new plan.
