EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Vacuus with HZPA Filter Asbestos Disposal Bag Uni-shear Cutter Roller Cutter Cutavl cutter with Chisel Blade 1/2" Hole Punch and Hamner Straight Edge and Pencil Ruler Bucket of Hater and Paper Rags * HE WOULD LIKE 30 MXHUTEB CUTTING PLUS CLEANING WORE AREA WITH HBVA VACUUM. CASE I -- USING UNI-SHEAR CUTTER, WITH ENGINEERED VACUUM SYSTEM ON SHEAR 1. Start personnel and rooa samplers 2. Cut 8 squares from 2 sheets of Garlock 900, each square should be 20" x 20". Wipe edges with vet rag and set aside all squares except one. 3. Using uni-shear cut 1/4" strips for 30 MINUTES. Cut at a normal pace (scraps from original sheet may be used). 4. Put all scraps in an approved asbestos disposal bag. 5. Vacuum up cutting area ONLY. 6. Stop sampling. Start parsonnal and roo sampling. 2. Taka ona pra-cut Garlock 900 square -- punch 1/2" hola in canter. 3. Sat material on roller cutter and cut the largest I.D. possible. Then cut 1/4" rings off I.D. until material is used. Cut at a normal pace. Count and record the number of cuts made. It may be necessary to use more than one pre-cut square to collect 30 MINUTES of cutting data. 4. Put all scraps in an approved asbestos disposal bag. 5. Vacuum work area only. 6. Stop sampling. VACUUM ROOM USING TEN HBPA VACUUM SYSTEM TO PREPARE ROOM POR MEW CASE. CASE III -- USING CUTAWL CUTTER, WITH ENGINEERED VACUUM SYSTEM ON SHEAR 1. Start personnel and room sampling. 2. Using pre-cut Garlock 900 squares, cut the largest I.D. possible. Then cut 1/4" - 1/2" rings off I.D. until 30 MINUTES of data is collected. Use normal cutting pace. Count and record the number of cuts made. 3. Put scraps in an approved asbestos disposal bag. 4. Vacuum work area only. 5. Stop sampling.
