Gaffey G2WE As you may be aware, a lawsuit was filed last week in federal court in West Virginia by present and former employees of the Nitro Plant and their relatives. Plaintiffs allege exposure to a -number o f .substances, including SOP-A-NOX (O-Poly-Biguamide), Niran, A-Jon-C, paraminobiphenyl, 2,4,5-T and dioxin has caused death and certain physical conditions including chloracne, leukemia, bladder and other cancers, kidney disease, heart disease and mental illness. Therefore, I should like to formally request that all studies, reports, plant correspondence, inquiries, etc. which may be in the possession of the medical department be withdrawn from the standard record retention schedule and retained until further notice.
