This product contains no substances listed in Appendix A-II. following substances listed in Appendix A-1 are found in product. The this Vinyl Chloride: less than 1.0 ppm (typically less than 0.1 ppm) Cadmium: typically .069 weight percent ' Zinc: typically .0086 weight percent The metals above are part of the stabilizer package. The concentration information was provided to us by the supplier of the additive. It is my understanding that we are currently working with Flexible Technologies to provide a cadmium free compound. Abbeville, South Carolina 29620 Dear Bill: This letter is a follow-up presence of vinyl chloride, compound. to my letter of 11/28 regarding cadmium and zinc in Vista 46801 the PVC Vista has monitored personnel exposures to VCM while handling PVC compounds similar to this product and the results indicate generally non-detectable quantities of VCM in the air. Based on this, detectable quantities of VCM should not be emitted during normal processing. In regards to potential emissions of cadmium and zinc compounds, based on the concentrations present and the physical properties of these substances we believe emissions would be non-detectable.
