Philadelphia, Pa., July 6, 1*43. At a regular meeting of the Directors of John T. Lewie A ires. Company, hold this day at their offieos in the Widsner Building, there wore present: 3. Frenoh Reeves, Tie# President A. X. Wilson, Flee President Leonard T. Baals, Director The meeting was ealled to order hy Mr. S. Freneh Reeves, who presided, and Mr. A. X. Wilson reported the minutes of the meeting. The minutes of the meeting of June 21, were read and approved, there hawing been no meeting held en June 26. Mr. Reeves reported that due to limitations on the use of automobile travel, the lease whieh this company has with the Bley System Central Garages, Inc., on our property, 224 South Fifth Street, Philadelphia, was bringing in no return to this company. It was, therefore, umani** mously approved that our lease with the Sley System be terminated on the following basis: "In consideration of the payment by you of the sum of Fifty ($10.00) Dollars, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, it is understood and agreed that the lease dated May 1J, 1941, covering the above premises, shall be canceled and become null j- and void, and there shall be no further obligation on the part of either party thereto." Approval was then given to Mr. Reeves to negotiate a new lease, which, while not en as profitable a basis as formerly, will bring in some revenue on this property. Upon the completion of this new lease Mr. Reeves was asked to provide all particulars.
